I Have only 200 miles on these tires, but here are my first impressions. I have been riding Wolfgang’s previous tires, Conti 4000 / 5000. Compared to those tires, the ToGuard really works! I was skeptical. But I have had no cuts and after 200 miles, the tires still look new.
Grip is excellent. Better grip and ride comfort than Conti 5000. The tires also give me more confidence in hard cornering.
I am running 26mm on a carbon 21mm rim. At 80-90 psi (rider =175lbs). Inflated size on large rim is about 27, right on ETRTO standards.
Tire was easy to mound barehanded.
